Youxi Liu

Youxi Liu is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Financial Planner™, and a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) with nearly a decade of experience in the wealth management industry. She joined Upstart as the Director of Tax to oversee the firm’s tax strategy in addition to working with clients. 

Originally from Chengdu, China, Youxi came to the US for a graduate degree in accounting at the College of William & Mary. Her global background and entrepreneurial mindset feed her passion to bring financial planning to the modern nomad - the new generation of professionals who transplant themselves for opportunity and experiences. 

A modern nomad herself, Youxi understands the financial and life complexities one faces during these major transitions. Her experience, expertise, and love of collaborating give her a unique perspective to help clients explore different ways of optimizing their resources to have the financial flexibility to pursue life dreams, create business ventures, and make a positive impact. 

During her free time, Youxi spends quality time with her husband and friends throughout the Boston area.
